      Established in the aftermath of the Foundation Wars, the Terran Federation was Earth’s first legitimate global government and direct precursor to the Terran Autocracy. It was ruled by two elected Consuls who each presided over a hemisphere of the planet.
      Presiding over these was the Imperator; a largely ceremonial figurehead who nevertheless could assume certain emergency powers when neccessary.

    During this era, the Autocrat sits passively as a sort of “Godfather”-like figurehead.
